Improving Gum Health With Advanced Periolase

The Causes of Gum Disease

According to the Centers for Disease Control, half of adults aged 30 and older will develop gum disease. You may notice sore, red gums and experience bleeding. As it worsens, the tissue could recede. Not only will discomfort increase, but as we touched on above, you could begin to lose natural teeth. The Periolase System

The Periolase and Waterlase systems use a concentrated beam of light to target and treat areas with precision and accuracy. Moving forward, we can help manage the issue with simple cleanings every three to four months. Lasers prevent damage to healthy tissues, and cauterize the area, so the risk of bleeding, infection, and swelling is significantly decreased. No need for sutures and often no need for anesthesia either. You heal quickly and return to your normal routine much faster than with scalpels and sutures too.
