The procedure is more conservative than traditional pinhole gum grafts, and can be completed without the use of scalpels or sutures. Instead, a minuscule hole is created in the healthy portions of the gums, and is used to loosen tissues and then use them to cover the exposed portions of the teeth. This helps reverse the impact of periodontal disease, and protects exposed roots from developing tooth decay or infection. The procedure also improves the beauty of your smile too!
